- An update on the achievements of the Stowe by Chartley Parish Council SOS Solar Panel Working Party
- June 2025 – to date – Cllr Peter Coote
- Staffordshire County Council Communications Team will present the Film Premier of a range of community video’s.
- All the video’s, relate to the community issues and problems in Drointon and surrounding areas, regarding conditions and the size of the local roads. The video’s take into account the proposed volume of traffic, which will be required to use the very narrow local lane’s, during the construction of any proposed Solar Farm in the area.
- Video 1: A short overview video primarily designed for social media to grab attention and give an overview of the issues.
- Video 2: A more in depth video case study which focuses on the issues the community is currently experiencing in relation to the solar farm applications. This video touches on the road issues as well as wider concerns about health and safety and community cohesion, as well as focusing on alternative solutions and in favour of sensible solar, not a land grab.
