Planning Application 21/35061/HOU, Holly Barn, Bowgage Farm, Uttoxeter Road, Grindley.
The Council is being consulted on an application to put a door on the open bay half of the double garage and to add a roof light to the building. Comments are needed by 21st February. In the past planning applications like this were delegated to the Clerk – following comments from Members. The Employment Committee has yet to decide this issue. If any Member objects to my responding using presumed delegated powers I will arrange a planning meeting.
The main issue with this application is that in order to preserve the character of the site all permitted development rights were removed. Permission for a roof light was granted on a previous application. Is the provision of a door on the current open stall something that would adversely affect this site?
